ROSS XPRESsion/Datalinq Integration

Follow these steps to add your Scorebird data to your Ross Expression live streams:

*For specific connection via Websocket, scroll to the bottom of the page.

On the DataLinq pop-up, click "Add New" in the bottom left corner.

Select #14, RSS Feed DataLinq Source. Click "OK".

You'll see a box for a URL to be pasted. Use the following API link to access device data:

https://nestcloud-api.scorebird.com/v2/game-state?nest_id=XXXXX

Replace "XXXXX" with your 5-digit NeST ID.

Select "JSON" in the "Data Format" field. Click "OK".

With the new connection highlighted, click "Browse".

Here, you should be able to see data fields that will eventually be populated, ensuring a connection.

CONNECTION VIA WEBSOCKET

Ross Datalinq allows a user to read data from all kinds of sources into Ross Expression. In order to use the websocket connection, DataLinq version 11.5 or greater is required.

In DataLinq, click the Add New button in the bottom left, then select WebSocket DataLinq Source from the list and click OK.

In the next menu, enter the Host name as seen above, with “wss://” in front of the IP address of the NeST followed by a “:” and the port number “8082”.Click OK to connect to your NeST. You should now see data when you click the Browse button.
